WATERJET OUTLINE

BC Waterjet that opens up a new future

An eco-friendly cutting machine that performs cutting operations.

Waterjet is an environmentally friendly cutting machine that performs various cutting works using only water and abrasive.
Waterjet can cut almost all materials and has a major advantage of not affecting the cutting material by using only water and abrasive.
The process of cutting with waterjet is very simple.
Water is converted into a high-pressure state of 60,000psi using a high-pressure pump (intensifier pump) and is then ejected through a small orifice in the cutting head. At this point, the abrasive is mixed with the high-pressure water inside the mixing tube and is ejected through the nozzle in the form of a waterjet at 1.5 times the speed of sound, making it possible to cut the cutting material.

The advantages of cutting with waterjet.
More diverse range of materials can be cut compared to other cutting methods.

Waterjet cutting can cut most materials, including metals, plastics, artificial and natural stones (such as granite and marble), glass, ceramics, and more. Unlike cutting methods that use heat, waterjet cutting uses only water and abrasive, so it doesn't affect the cutting material and can cut almost any material.

You can cut materials ranging from the thinnest to over 6 inches thick using waterjet cutting.

Not only can materials be cut by folding several layers, but also cutting materials with various thicknesses is possible, thereby increasing the productivity of the cutting process.

By providing a high-quality cutting process, it minimizes the need for post-cutting finishing processes.

Waterjet cutting process that does not affect the material provides the highest quality cut and provides the best quality on the cut surface, minimizing post-cutting finishing processes.

Can be used as an alternative or complementary process to other cutting methods.

As explained above, the ability to cut various materials with various thicknesses and high-quality cuts makes it possible to use waterjet cutting as a replacement or supplement to existing cutting methods.

Eco-friendly stability and cleanliness

Waterjet cutting does not use any chemicals, glass, or toxic liquids that are used in other cutting processes. Waterjet cutting is a very environmentally friendly cutting process, as it only uses crushed sand called garnet and high-pressure water as an abrasive.
Therefore, when cutting with a waterjet, there is no dust generated, and it provides a safe and environmentally friendly working environment compared to other cutting methods.
